About Us

The Golden Age is A Licensed Family Day Care Home by the
Department of Children and Families and contracted also by
the Early Learning Coalition to participate in the School
Readiness Program and Florida’s Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten
(VPK) Education Program.
The Golden Age was created with the simple motivation to
provide parents who work outside the home, a good
educational option and quality care for the little ones.
Our center offer a high-quality early childhood program in a
loving, safe, supportive, stimulating and positive environment
that fosters all the domains addressed in the «Florida State
Performance Standards”: Physical Health and Development,
Approaches to Learning, Social and Emotional Development,
Language and Communication, Emergent Literacy, Cognitive
Development and General Knowledge, using play as a didactic
Method through the different workshops in the Learning
Center (Music and Movement, Reading, Science, Creative
Expression Through The Arts, Dramatic Play, Blocks, Puzzles,
Games, and Outdoor Play) allowing them to learn in their own
way and space, and at the same time themselves choose the
activity they wish to play and may freely move on to another
area whenever they wish, always with our patient guide and
with a lot of love so that children can thrive and become future
leaders by being active participants and shapers of their world.
Families are a vital part of The Golden Age Family Child Care
Home Program and are considered our partners.
We will strengthen and support the relation between the child
and the family and we will work together towards communication,
cooperation and collaboration with the home with methods
that enhance the development of the child.
